US President Donald Trump has declared he is in “deciding mode” over the ongoing Iran war, warning that “very big things” could happen soon if Tehran does not change course.

His remarks came after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian prepared to travel to New York for the United Nations General Assembly, with a senior delegation expected to accompany him. Tehran has reportedly conveyed seven conditions through Qatar to resume negotiations aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz and ending hostilities.

Speaking to a television channel, Trump outlined three possible options: “wiping Iran out,” “letting them rot economically,” or “making a deal.” He stressed that the US is prepared for decisive action if Iran fails to cooperate.

Trump also addressed other regional conflicts, noting that Washington remains in contact with Yemen’s Houthi rebels following their recent missile attacks on Saudi Arabia. He claimed the group had agreed not to target American personnel, though tensions remain high across the region.
