The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the NEET PG 2026 result for candidates who appeared in the postgraduate medical entrance examination. The result has been published through the official NBEMS website.

The main NEET PG examination was conducted on August 30, 2026, with 2,63,544 candidates appearing. A re-examination was subsequently conducted in Jaipur on September 5 for 2,416 candidates who could not complete the original examination because of a power failure at two centres.

The NEET PG 2026 qualifying cutoff is 262 marks out of 720 for General and EWS candidates, corresponding to the 50th percentile. For General candidates under the PwBD category, the cutoff is 244 marks at the 45th percentile. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, including PwBD candidates from these categories, the cutoff is 226 marks at the 40th percentile.

The declared rank represents a candidate's overall position among those who appeared for the examination. State and Union Territory authorities will prepare their respective merit lists and category-wise lists for State Quota admissions.

Individual NEET PG 2026 scorecards and the answer key are scheduled to be available on or after October 1, 2026. Candidates will be able to access details such as question IDs, correct answer IDs, their selected responses and marks through their applicant login.

Candidates should note that qualifying the examination does not itself guarantee admission. Eligibility requirements, counselling, reservation rules and seat allocation will determine admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB and PG Medical Diploma programmes.
