The NEET PG 2026 answer key is expected to be released soon by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Candidates will be able to check the answer key and their recorded responses through the official NEET PG portal.
The NEET PG examination was conducted on August 30, 2026, with 2,65,980 candidates appearing. A separate examination was held on September 5 for 2,445 candidates affected by a technical disruption at examination centres in Jaipur.
The response sheet is expected to show the question IDs, correct answers and responses marked by candidates. The NEET PG 2026 result is scheduled to be declared by September 30, according to the examination notification.
For calculating the probable raw score, candidates can use the prescribed marking scheme: four marks for every correct answer, one mark deducted for an incorrect response and no marks for an unattempted question.
The qualifying percentile is 50th for General/EWS candidates, 45th for UR PwBD candidates and 40th for SC, ST and OBC candidates.
Along with the result, NBEMS will release the NEET PG merit list indicating candidates’ overall merit positions. Candidates should check the official NBEMS website for the answer key, response sheet and result updates.
