Artificial intelligence interactive content company Flam has raised $40 million in a Series B funding round led by QED Investors, as the startup looks to expand its technology and global enterprise business.
The round also saw participation from Claypond Capital, Martin Chavez, Olivier Pomel, Venky Harinarayan and Shahrukh Khan. Existing investors RTP Global and Dovetail also increased their investments.
Flam plans to use the fresh capital to accelerate research and development of its AI models, expand its product portfolio and scale enterprise sales internationally.
The company said it has secured more than 100 enterprise customers within six quarters. Its customer base includes companies such as Google, State Farm and Diageo, which use Flam’s technology across marketing, product visualisation, learning and development, entertainment, customer support, sales and fan engagement.
Founded by Shourya Agarwal, Flam is developing interactive content formats designed to make digital experiences more engaging. The company currently holds more than 15 patents and offers three main formats.
Its products include Flicks, which enable interactive changes to people, products or scenes during video playback, and Forge, an editing model that modifies specified elements in image references. The company also develops Airboards, interactive 3D content experiences, and Visual Agents capable of conversations and agentic actions.
The latest funding will support Flam’s efforts to develop its AI infrastructure and broaden its enterprise offerings globally.
