Actress Anjali Anand, who recently appeared in Dhamaal 4, has shared her mother’s candid reaction to the comedy film and her performance.
During an appearance on Farah Khan’s YouTube food vlog, Anjali recalled asking her mother what she thought of the film. Her mother described Dhamaal 4 as “good” but added that it was a “one-time watch.” When Anjali asked about her own performance, her mother gave an equally straightforward response, saying she was “okay.”
The exchange left Farah Khan and others amused, with Anjali describing her mother as naturally honest and direct.
Anjali also opened up about a difficult period in her career. She recalled 2020 as one of the lowest points of her life, when acting opportunities were limited and she had considered leaving India.
The actress began her career on television before making her film debut with Bell Bottom in 2021. She later gained wider recognition with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in 2023 and subsequently appeared in Dhamaal 4 alongside Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi.
