India’s young batting star Abhishek Sharma has surged to No. 2 in the ICC men’s T20I batting rankings following his explosive 82 in the series opener against Afghanistan. He overtook Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan and now trails teammate Ishan Kishan, who remains the top‑ranked T20I batter.
India’s Sanju Samson also made progress, climbing four places to No. 30 after his match‑winning 57 in the second T20I that sealed the series 2‑0 for India.

In the Test rankings, England pacer Ollie Robinson achieved a career‑best No. 3 among bowlers after claiming 21 wickets in the three‑Test series against Pakistan. His teammate Josh Tongue also impressed, rising to No. 11. Robinson’s batting contributions lifted him to No. 13 among Test allrounders.
Among Test batters, Pakistan captain Babar Azam climbed to No. 13, Shan Masood to No. 37, and England’s wicketkeeper Jamie Smith to No. 20.
Elsewhere in ODIs, Australia’s Nathan Ellis jumped 20 places to No. 20 in bowling rankings after a five‑wicket haul against Zimbabwe, while Matthew Renshaw and Cooper Connolly made strides among batters.
