Microsoft Offers Voluntary Buyouts to 60,000 Employees

Microsoft announced voluntary exit packages for around 60,000 employees on October 26, 2026.

Eligible staff include selected teams in India, the US, Canada and Britain.

Employees at vice-president level and below may qualify.

Some teams, including certain data centre, sales and marketing groups, are excluded.
